Secondhand smoke issues are generally regarded as a neighbour dispute than health hazards and are often ignored by different government agencies. In fact, those of you who have experienced secondhand smoke exposure will understand the emotional distress, mental anguish, loss of fresh air, and freedom in your own home. Secondhand smoke interferes with your enjoyment at your home and becomes a nuisance. If you are surrounded by multiple smokers or chain smokers, you hardly can live a normal & healthy life at home.
Therefore, we want to hear from you and let the authorities know that secondhand smoke is more than a neighbour dispute. We deserve a smoke-free home and need laws to protect non-smokers from secondhand smoke harm. You can see other secondhand smoke victims’ stories here.
